Material and Workmanship Warranty
Material and Workmanship warranty is limited to warranties covering defects in material and workmanship which include structural,
heating, plumbing, and electrical. In addition, all homes will carry the CSA seal and will have been inspected by Quality
Control personnel, Quality Assurance personnel and CSA personnel. We agree to repair or replace at our discretion, defects for up
to one (1) year to the original owner of the home. We pass through our vendor warranties by manufacturers (furnace, cooking stove,
refrigerator, dishwasher, washer or dryer) whose brand of appliance is installed in each home. Appliance manufacturers warranty
their specific products and we encourage owners to fill out and mail in the registration card that accompanies each appliance in
a new home so an immediate record is recorded by that manufacturer.
Structural Warranty
Structural Warranty is covered by our limited warranty. In this situation, because of the structural specification of homes ordered
(2" x 10" floor joist, 2" x 6" wall studs, and engineered roof trusses 16" centers) we agree to warrant the structural components,
limited to floors, exterior walls, and roof for ten (10) years against defects in material and workmanship.
Warranty Disclaimer
- Any and all damage caused by transport to the retailer's business or home owners' site is not covered.
- Damage caused by improper support of home on display at retail lot is not covered.
- Any damage caused by moving the home to the owners' site, either through rough terrain, swamps, and/or wood areas is not covered.
- Structural damage caused by improper site preparation is not covered
- Damage caused by the home not being properly supported at set-up will not be covered. Please refer to manufacturer's set-up instructions or local professional engineer's recommendations
- Under no circumstance does UMH cover damages caused by acts of God, floods, wind, storms, fire and/or vandalism.
